Virtu Ferries extends partnership with Carus
SEPT 2024 —Virtu Ferries, the leading maritime transport service operating between Malta and Sicily, has extended its partnership with Carus, leveraging their cutting-edge solutions for enhanced operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Virtu Ferries chose Carus to implement their advanced ferry service solution. Remarkably, Carus executed most of the project remotely, with their team working from home offices across Europe. They only visited the offices and ports in Malta and Italy just before the system went live, showcasing their flexibility and commitment.
Building on this successful implementation, Virtu Ferries is now expanding its contract with Carus to include additional functionality and services. Central to this expansion is Carus's innovative new licensing model. This model grants Virtu Ferries access to a wide range of software modules and APIs within the Carus software stack, providing unparalleled flexibility to select and utilize the features that best suit their needs.
“This new service from Carus is exactly what we needed,” stated Henri Saliba, Managing Director of Virtu Ferries. “It allows us to explore and utilize every detail of the Carus system and seamlessly integrate it with other tools essential for our business development.”
Jonas Blomsterlund, Director of Accounts at Carus, emphasized the significance of this contract: “Enabling Virtu Ferries to utilize a wide range of features and modules of our system ensures they can fully leverage our extensive functionality and APIs. We are excited to support Virtu Ferries in maximizing their operational capabilities.”
This extended partnership underscores Virtu Ferries' commitment to innovation and excellence in service, positioning them strongly for future growth and enhanced customer experiences.
